PM-YASASVI Scholarship 2025: This is a great opportunity for OBC category students to get a scholarship of Rs 1.5 lakh. For this, the form of the Pradhan Mantri Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme (PM-YASASVI Scholarship 2025) has to be filled. Which online application has started? This scholarship will be provided by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to the students of class IX or XI of OBC, Economically Backward (EBC), and Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNT). The family income should be two and a half lakhs per annum or less.

Application for the Pradhan Mantri Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme has to be done by visiting the official website scholarships.gov.in. The last date to apply is 31 August 2025. This scholarship is for those students who study in the top-performing schools of the country and the schools whose results are consistently 100 percent in the 10th and 12th board examinations.

Under this scholarship scheme, Rs 75000 will be given annually for classes IX and X, and Rs 1.5 lakh for classes 11-12. This will include school and hostel fees.

How will the selection for the scholarship be done?

Students will be selected for Pradhan Mantri Yashasvi Scholarship 2025 through a computer-based Yashasvi Entrance Exam (YET). This exam will be for three hours. A total of 100 questions will be asked. 30 questions will be of mathematics, 20 of science, 25 of social science and 25 of general studies.
