All Creatures Great and Small star Rachel Shenton has given fans a sneak peek into the filming of season six, which has now come to an end.

The 37-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a heartwarming montage of behind-the-scenes videos and images, including glimpses of her baby bump and a tender moment with co-star Anna Madeley cradling her newborn son.

Alongside the post, Rachel wrote: "That's a wrap on season 6....A very special (and very different) one for me, with the arrival of my baby boy. So glad I could sneak back at the end and introduce him to everyone...shout out to the loveliest production, crew & cast for making it easier! Especially @annamadeley."

Rachel, who portrays Helen Herriot in the period drama, added a heartfelt message, saying: "#ACGAS...You're the best!" The comment section was flooded with sweet messages from fans as one wrote: "Absolutely brilliant Rachel, great to hear Series 6 is wrapped. But more importantly, many congrats on the birth of your baby."

Another said: "Congratulations on the birth of your baby, and on completion of the season. Best wishes. Motherhood looks fabulous on you."

A third commented: "So happy for you Rachel, can't wait for the new series. Love to all the team, see you next year." One wrote: "So happy for you and thrilled that you and the little one are doing well! He clearly has his Auntie Anna wrapped around his little finger already."

The actress and her husband, actor and filmmaker Chris Overton, welcomed their first child, Orson Wilde Shenton Overton, in April.

At the time, the TV star shared the exciting news on Instagram with a black-and-white photo of the baby boy's feet and gushed all of her "dreams have come true".

Rachel thanked doctors and midwives after their little boy arrived "earlier than expected' and they had to 'stay in hospital for a while".

She revealed that the couple have called their bundle of joy Orson Wilde Overton. Rachel wrote: "On the 09.04.2025 my dream came true....Welcome to the world Orson Wilde Overton....Our hearts are yours. The biggest thank you to the brilliant midwives and doctors at Royal Stoke Maternity Unit.

"Orson came along earlier than expected...so we needed to stay in hospital for a while and we couldn't have wished for better care and support."

Fans and famous faces including Emily Atack rushed to the comments to congratulate the star on the happy news. She wrote: "Absolutely bloody brilliant news" While Jazmine Franks added: "Gorgeous news. Congratulations."

Kirsty Gallagher said: "I am SO happy for you, over the moon in fact. This is the best news ever. Enjoy the new born bubble. I'm sending you all so much love."

Jamie Lomas and Jessica Fox were also among the stars to send some sweet words to the happy couple.
