The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released detailed guidelines for the upcoming practical examinations and Supplementary Examinations for 2025. These practical assessments are scheduled to take place from July 10 to July 15 for students in Class 10 and Class 12 who are eligible and categorized under Compartment mode.
Class 12: Students marked as Repeat in Practical (RP) can only take the practical exam during the Supplementary program while retaining their previous theory scores.
Class 10: Students classified as Repeat in Theory and Practical Both (RB) are allowed to sit for both theory and practical exams in the supplementary session.
Class 12: External examiners will be appointed by the Regional Offices, while internal examiners will be sourced from the respective schools.
Class 10: Schools will manage all arrangements internally, with Regional Offices stepping in to appoint external examiners if needed.
Students must arrive at their school or exam center by July 7, 2025, bringing along their result copy and admit card.
Schools or centers are required to upload practical marks on the same day as the exam. Once submitted, these marks cannot be altered.
Only answer books provided by the CBSE Regional Offices are to be utilized. Examiners must ensure that all entries are completed accurately.
Schools are responsible for compiling a list of examinees by subject and coordinating with the Regional Office for timely examiner appointments.
Regional Offices will keep a record of examiners by center and subject, appoint external examiners as necessary, and oversee the exam administration and result submissions.
