APAAR ID is a unique 12 -digit educational identity number, which is designed to store all educational information from school to higher education in digital form. It is associated with Digilocker, making it digital safe and simplified in use.

Eligibility for APAAR ID Card

All students studying in India, whether they are in government schools, private schools, colleges or universities.
It can include students from the age of 5 to 25+ years.

Registration process for APAAR ID

step 1: First the student will have to go on.
Step 2: Sign up as “students” there.
Step 3: Do OTP verification through Aadhaar card and mobile number.
Step 4: Fill basic information like name, date of birth, school/college name etc.
Step 5: After successful registration, a unique APAAR ID will be generated.

How to download APAAR ID Card?

Go to the website or app.
Login with your registered mobile number.
Go to the “Issued Documents” section.
APAAR ID card will be seen there, you can download it in PDF format.

Parents are required to consent

If the student is under 18 years of age, the permission of parents or guardian is required before creating APAAR ID. This consent is taken through a form at the school level. It also mentions how to use the student’s data.
