Kohli's Casual Outing in London

Recently, former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli was seen strolling through the streets of London alongside his wife, Anushka Sharma. While it's not uncommon for him to be in this area, what caught the eye was his reaction to a videographer.

As Kohli stood with his wife, who appeared to be engaged in conversation with someone, he turned to the videographer with a mix of seriousness and humor. Anushka also glanced back, adding to the moment.

Kohli's Quest for Privacy

Virat Kohli has chosen to reside in London to escape the constant attention from fans in India. The cricketing icon, who is often surrounded by admirers, values his privacy and has made efforts to keep his family life away from the public eye, even refraining from sharing images of his children on social media.

Kohli has expressed his discomfort with being filmed, having previously confronted a reporter in Australia who took his picture despite his request not to. This incident sparked considerable discussion, but Kohli remained steadfast in his stance.

Ahead of the England series, Kohli hosted a dinner at his London home for several players, including newly appointed captain Shubman Gill and vice-captain Rishabh Pant. While some speculated that the gathering was for strategic discussions, others viewed it as a casual get-together.

Reflecting on his cricketing journey, Kohli concluded his Test career with an impressive tally of 9,230 runs from 123 matches, including 30 centuries, the last of which was scored in Perth during the Border-Gavaskar Series.

After returning from the series, Kohli announced his retirement just before the squad selection for the England series. He also stepped back from T20 internationals following his victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados. Currently, he is available for One Day Internationals and is expected to return to the field in early 2026 for a series against New Zealand at home.
