Uorfi Javed: The finale of Karan Johar’s reality show ‘The Traders’ took place on 3 July on Amazon Prime Video. Urfi Javed and Nikita Luther became the winners of the first season of the show. Both of them left behind everyone from their brilliant game play and also won the prize money of Rs 70.05 lakh with the trophy of victory.

How was the show format?

‘The Treater’ is a unique reality show in which some contestants are secretly made ‘traitors’ and the rest of the contestants are innocent. The work of traitors is to quiet an innocent every night, while innocent people are aimed at identifying traitors and excluding them through votes. If all traitors are caught in time, innocent players win the show, otherwise the remaining traitors become winner.

The show included many popular faces as contestants, such as Karan Kundra, Raj Kundra, Pati, Sahil Salathia, Apoorva Makhi, Purv Jha, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Jannat Zubair, Elnaz Norouji, Anshula Kapoor, and Ashish Vidyarthi.

Urfi gave a befitting reply to trolls

Urfi Javed played a brilliant game in the show and became a winner, but some people did not like this. Urfi was abused and threatened on social media. On this, Urfi shared the screenshots on Instagram and wrote, “Now I am getting abuses to win a show, not for my clothes. If people do not win the favorite contestant, then they start abusing the other. But I did not stop before, nor will I stop now.”

Many celebs and fans supported him on Urfi’s post. Names like Arjun Bijlani, Arijit Taneja and the show’s contestant Purab Jha advised to remain strong and ignore hate.
