New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programmes (CUET UG) 2025 results on Thursday night, opting for a new format of result disclosure.
In a significant shift from previous years, the agency did not release the names of toppers but instead listed application numbers of candidates who achieved the highest NTA scores across five subjects.
As per the official update, individual scorecards are being sent to universities. Candidates have been advised to remain in touch with the respective universities and institutions for further updates on admissions and counselling processes.
The NTA had released the provisional answer key for CUET UG on June 17 and allowed candidates to submit objections till June 20. The final answer key was published on July 1 after considering all the grievances submitted by candidates.
One student achieves 100 percentile in four subjects
According to the data released, only one candidate achieved a perfect 100 percentile score in four out of five selected subjects. Meanwhile, 17 students scored 100 percentile in three subjects, while 150 candidates managed it in two subjects. A larger group of 2,679 students scored a perfect 100 in at least one of their chosen subjects.
