Indian Navy Agniveer MR Musician Recruitment 2025: The Indian Navy has released the official notification for Agniveer MR posts under Musician Entry (02/2025 Batch). Under this recruitment, the youth will get a golden opportunity to serve in the Indian Navy for 4 years. The application process for this recruitment will start from July 5 and will run till July 13.

Candidates applying for Indian Navy Agniveer MR (Musician) Recruitment 2025 should have passed the 10th class (Matriculation) from a recognized board. Also, this examination should be recognized by the "Board of School Education" with 50 percent marks. This eligibility is mandatory for those candidates who want to serve with the Navy in the field of music.

Marital Status and Rules

Only unmarried male and female candidates can participate in this recruitment process. Selected candidates will have to certify that they are unmarried, for which it will be mandatory to submit an 'Unmarried Certificate'. Additionally, Agniveers will not be allowed to marry during their four-year tenure of service.

A music-related qualification is also necessary.

Along with educational qualifications, proficiency in music is also mandatory for this recruitment. Candidates should have the ability to sing the tune, rhythm, and the entire song properly. Also, they should have the understanding to recognize music by listening. This should not be just bookish knowledge, but it should also be visible in real performance.

Candidates should know how to play any Indian or foreign musical instrument. Such as keyboard, tabla, drums, guitar, flute or any other instrument. It is necessary to have a good grip and practice on one or more instruments.

What should be the age?

To apply for this recruitment, the date of birth of the candidate should be between 1 September 2004 and 29 February 2008. This means that only those who are born on or between these two dates will be eligible to apply. Both dates will be included i.e. if someone is born on 1 September 2004 or 29 February 2008, then they can also apply.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

It is necessary to pass the physical test to be selected for the recruitment. Male candidates will have to complete a 1.6 km race in 6 minutes 30 seconds, and also do 20 squats, push-ups, and sit-ups. On the other hand, female candidates will have to complete a 1.6 km race in 8 minutes, and also do 15 sit-ups, 10 push-ups, and sit-ups.

How much salary will be given?

Candidates selected for the post of Agniveer Musician will get a salary of Rs 30,000 per month in the first year. In the second year, this salary will increase to Rs 33,000 per month. This salary will increase further in the third and fourth years, respectively. Along with this, Agniveers will also be given risk allowance, ration, clothes, and other allowances as per the prescribed rules.

Selection Process and Application Fee

Candidates will first be selected on the basis of their marks obtained in their Matriculation (10th) examination. After this, the shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Music Ability Test, and Medical Examination. Final selection will be made only after passing all the stages.
