SSC Biometric Registration Problem: SSC is currently seeking applications for more than 20 thousand posts through various recruitments. SSC advised the candidates to update their Aadhaar

In the recent notice issued by the commission, it has been said that it has been observed that some candidates are facing problems related to biometric authentication/registration while submitting the application. All the candidates who are facing problems related to biometric authentication/registration have been advised by the commission to update their Aadhaar details. The commission has said that the reason for this may be that the details are not being updated in Aadhaar.

The notice reads, "It has come to the notice of the Commission that some candidates are facing issues related to biometric authentication/registration while submitting applications. As per the notices dated 16.04.2025, 09.05.2025, and 04.06.2025 uploaded on the Commission's website and the Aadhaar policy of SSC dated 23.05.2025, all such candidates should ensure that their Aadhaar details are updated. If Aadhaar details are not updated, candidates are advised to update their Aadhaar biometrics through their nearest Aadhaar centre."

SSC Jobs: SSC's big recruitments

Last month (June 2025), SSC launched various recruitments for more than 20,000 posts. This includes major recruitments like SSC CGL, CHSL (10+2), SSC MTS, and SSC JE.

SSC CGL 2025: The Combined Graduate Level Examination, conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission, is being conducted this time for 14,582 posts. The last date to apply for this is July 4, 2025.

SSC JE 2025: The Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2025 application process is going on by the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates must have a B.Tech degree or a three-year diploma in the relevant subject. The last date to apply is 21 July 2025 till 11 pm.

SSC CHSL (10+2) 2025: A total of 3,131 posts will be filled under the SSC CHSL Recruitment Drive 2025. The deadline for online application for this recruitment process has been fixed till July 18, 2025.

SSC MTS 2025: Multi-Tasking Staff is recruited by the Staff Selection Commission. The last date to apply for this in July 2025 is July 24. 1,075 posts of Havildar will be filled, while the vacancies of MTS have not been notified yet.
