Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has issued an official notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Public Prosecutor (APO). A total of 134 posts of JPSC APO 2025 will be recruited by JPSC. If you also want to work as APO in the Prison and Disaster Management Department of Jharkhand State, then you can apply for this post. You can apply for this post till 5 pm on July 21. Also, candidates can pay the prescribed examination fee to apply from July 21 to July 22. Essential Qualification

To apply for the post of APO, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized institute of India and other prescribed eligibility. Apart from this, candidates must have a certificate of computer operation from an institute recognized by the state government.

Age limit

The minimum age of the candidates has been fixed at 21 years. Also, the maximum age of general category and EWS candidates has been fixed at 35 years, maximum age of OBC candidates at 37 years, age of female candidates at 38 years and maximum age of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates at 40 years.

Selection will be done like this
The selection for the post of APO will be done on the basis of written examination, main examination and interview. There will be two papers in the preliminary examination. In Paper-I, candidates will be asked multiple choice type questions of 100 marks from general studies and in Paper-II, candidates will be asked objective type questions of 200 marks based on graduation level. The duration of the preliminary examination has been fixed at two hours. Candidates successful in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. In the main examination, candidates will be asked questions from Hindi, English, Essay, General Studies and Law subjects. Also, the candidates selected in the main examination will be invited for interview.

Examination fee
To apply for the post of APO, candidates will also have to pay the examination fee. The application fee for General, EWS and OBC candidates has been fixed at Rs 600, and the examination fee for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates of Jharkhand state has been fixed at Rs 150.
