Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are set to share screen space once again after 18 years, teaming up for director Priyadarshan ’s upcoming thriller titled Haiwaan . The duo last appeared together in the 2008 film Tashan.The shoot is scheduled to begin in Kochi this August, with the second leg to take place in Mumbai. Confirming the news, Priyadarshan said, “Yes, we are ready to start shooting next month, once I complete the editing of Bhooth Bangla . Haiwaan will wrap up by November and release next year.” So far, there is no female lead roped in for the project. The film is one of the three upcoming collaborations between Akshay and Priyadarshan, following Bhooth Bangla and the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3 , which is now back on track after a turbulent start.
Speaking about working with Akshay again, Priyadarshan shared, “Every film has its own destiny, Akshay and I are very excited about these films, and right now, we aren’t thinking about our past hits. We want to give these films our best.”
With Haiwaan slated for a 2026 release, fans can look forward to seeing the hit duo bring their chemistry back to the big screen in a fresh new avatar.
