CRAVITY has been steadily and surely rising to fame. In a recent interview, the idols got candid about life and career and shared funny anecdotes with the audience. Wonjin started off the segment by sharing hilarious stories about his father, who he claims is known for his sassy humour. Wonjin shared how his father has an interesting way of calling him out in an argument.
CRAVITY‘s Wonjin talks about his father’s hilarious antics
During an interview with ‘The WK-Star Next Door’, CRAVITY members opened up about life and even shared some funny and sweet anecdotes from their lives. Wonjin, right off the bat, started sharing about how his father is funny and has a dry and daddy sense of humour. He also delved into how the two can get into arguments easily.
He shared that usually whenever his father’s colleagues ask him about Wonjin, he always jokes about it and says that he has run away from home. He shared, “My father kind of likes to make jokes. He likes it. His colleagues asked him, 'What does your oldest son do?' My dad goes, 'Gosh. He doesn't even come home. He moved out with his friends to do what he likes.'”
Everyone was startled by the story and started laughing, with the host saying, “You sound like a delinquent,” to which Wonjin replied by saying, “I’ve become a brat.”
Wonjin’s father is all about getting back at his son
Wonjin also delved into the unique and funny way his father gets back at him in the middle of arguments and comments. He shared that he always says, “My dream is to become a rich son”. He continued, joking that his father doesn’t even try, making everyone shocked at the member’s bluntness.
He continued, sharing that “My father says, 'I want a son like BTS’,” sending everyone into a laughing fit. Fellow member Minhee added that Wonjin’s father is “nice” and that if he were in the same place, his parents would’ve hit him, to which all of the other members agreed.
Netizens reactSoon after the episode’s release, Wonjin’s clip talking about his father went viral online. One fan commented, “Type of thing my dad would say to make me shut up, like wdym Jungkook in my age already became a rich millionaire while I barely survive with my bank account”, while another shared that “When asian parents start quoting you as a standard for their kids, you know you have made it”.
