New Delhi: On the occasion of Ranveer Singh’s birthday his fans are in for a treat as the first look of his upcoming film Dhurandhar has just dropped. Locked in for a December 5 release, the film now would be clashing with Prabhas’ The Raja Saab in theatres.

Dhurandhar first look drops

Jio Studios and B62 Studios unveiled the electrifying first look of Dhurandhar, a awaited action-thriller starring Ranveer Singh on his birthday. Set to release on 5th December 2025 globally, the film is directed by Aditya Dhar of Uri: The Surgical Strike fame. The music of the film is composed by Shashwat, with vocals by Jasmine Sandlas and a special collaboration by Hanumankind.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, it also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. The 2 minute 40 second first look seemed like raw, relentless visual onslaught, blending mystery, grit, and high-octane action. The film is presented by Jio Studios, a B62 Studios production, Dhurandhar, written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.

With the December 5 release, the film will most likely be competing with Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, another film that is slated to release on the same date. 

Interestingly both films would have Sanjay Dutt in a pivotal role. If early reports are to be believed, the competition may become even more stuff, as Vishal Bhardwaj’s untitled next starring Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, and Randeep Hooda, is also looking to release on December 5.
