Following Perez on the list of Spain’s richest people is multi-sector investor Juan Abello, with a net worth of $3.3 billion. Juan Roig, the head of the Mercadona supermarket chain and his wife Hortensia Herrero, ranked fourth and eighth with fortunes of $6.3 billion and $3.6 billion, respectively. Rafael Del Pino and Maria Del Pino, sisters who inherited the transport infrastructure group Ferrovial, ranked third and seventh with fortunes of $6.9 billion and $3.6 billion.

Hotel magnate Miquel Fluxa Rossello ranks sixth with $3.9 billion, while shopping mall tycoon Tomas Olivo Lopez holds the fifth spot with $4.8 billion.
