Since kadhi is made from yogurt, it is also included in this rule. Even in religious texts, curd and things made from it have been described in the month of Sawan.

What are scientific and Ayurvedic reasons?

The digestive system is weak: According to Ayurveda, the digestive power (digestion) of the body is weak during the Sawan season. In such a situation, eating sour things like curd and kadhi can cause problems of gas, indigestion and acidity.

Vata dosha may increase: Yogurt has properties to increase vata (air element), which can cause joint pain, stomach gas and other problems in this season.

Effect of milk quality in rain: Sawan is high in rain, and during this time, the grass that grazes cow-buffalo due to grass, insects, moisture, has a direct effect on the quality of their milk. These milk and things made from it can harm the body.
