JMI Recruitment: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), Delhi, has issued a notification for recruitment to various non-teaching posts. The institute is going to fill a total of 143 posts. The application process for this is going on. Interested candidates will have to apply through the offline mode to join this recruitment process.

The posts to be filled under this recruitment include Clerk, Assistant, Technical Staff, Lab Attendant, Librarian, and other administrative and support categories. Application forms can be downloaded from the official website of Jamia www.jmi.ac.in.

The details of the vacancies are as follows:
A total of 143 posts will be filled under this recruitment, including 60 posts of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), 60 posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), 2 posts of Deputy Registrar, 9 posts of Section Officer, and 12 posts of Assistant.

Who can apply?

The educational qualification for these posts has been prescribed differently according to the post. The candidates applying should have a 10th pass, a graduation degree, or a master's degree. The age limit also varies according to the posts, in which the maximum age has been fixed from 40 to 50 years. Candidates of the reserved category will be given age relaxation as per the rules.

How much salary will be given

The candidates selected for these posts will get a salary ranging from Rs 18,000 to Rs 2,09,200 per month according to the post.

This much will be the application fee.

The application fee has been fixed according to the post and category to which you are applying. For the post of Deputy Registrar, candidates of the General Category (UR) and OBC category will have to pay Rs 1000, while candidates of the SC/ST category will have to pay Rs 500 as application fee.

For other posts such as Section Officer, Assistant, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), the fee has been fixed at Rs 750 for UR/OBC category and Rs 350 for SC/ST category. At the same time, PwBD (Divyang) candidates are completely exempted from the fee i.e. the application is free for them.
