Railway Recruitment 2025: Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway has a great opportunity for the youth who are planning to get a job (Sarkari Naukri). For this, Eastern Railway has released recruitments to fill various posts under Level 1 and Level 2. Eligible and interested candidates who want to apply for these posts can apply online by visiting the official website of Eastern Railway, rrcer.org. The application process for these posts starts from 9th July.

A total of 13 vacant posts will be reinstated through this recruitment process. Anyone who is thinking of applying for these posts can apply till 8th August. Candidates should read all these special things given below carefully before applying.

Posts to be filled in the Railways

Level 2 posts: 3 posts

Level 1 posts: 10 posts

Eligibility criteria to get a job in the Railways

Level 2: Candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board/council.

SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen (ExSM), PwBD, and candidates having higher education from a university recognized by UGC will be exempted from the condition of 50% marks.

OR

Candidate must have passed the 10th class and obtained a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) or an ITI recognized by NCVT. (Diploma in Engineering will not be considered as a valid higher qualification.)

Level 1: Must have passed class 10th from a recognized board, or 10th pass with ITI or NAC certificate approved by NCVT is required.

A fee has to be paid to apply for the Railways
Application fee for General Male, OBC Male, EWS Male candidates - Rs 500
Application fee for SC, ST, Female, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Minority, Economically Backward Class candidates - Rs 250
This is how you will get a job in the Railways
Selection will be done through written examination, which will include two types of questions.
Objective Type - 40 questions, 40 marks
Topics: Activities of Scouts and Guides, Organization Information, General Knowledge
Descriptive Type - 1 question, 20 marks
Duration of the exam: 60 minutes
