The Bengal cricketer originally from Bihar, Akash Deep, has seen all odds in his life. Losing his father and his brother in a month, during his early days, and now his elder sister, Akahnd Jyoti Singh, battling cancer, this lad has his own battles going on. The fifer fans celebrated last night came out of grit and resilience from the youngest sibling of the family.

 
After winning the Test at Edgbaston, Akash revealed that his fifer goes to his sister. There, he revealed that Jyoti was suffering from cancer, even though she is stable now. Following that, AajTak, went to his residence to take an interview of her. Speaking to the house, Jyoti revealed how much her brother Akash is connected to his family.
 
Akash have two brothers and three sisters; one of these brothers died in 2015. Akash is the youngest.  Jyoti revealed that she in the third stage of her cancer, but that can't curb her excitement towards her brother's performance. She said,
