Dartford Crossing is experiencing severe delays after a crash and breakdowns in the tunnel. The incidents this morning in the Dartford tunnels have led to a backlog, resulting in congestion and delays of up to an hour for drivers heading toward the crossing.

Heavy traffic built up on the anticlockwise carriageway approaching the crossing between Essex and Kent. While there is some traffic on the clockwise carriageway over the QEII Bridge, it is flowing more smoothly compared to the opposite side.
