BCECE LE Counselling 2025: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECE) has issued the counselling timetable for admissions to the second year of engineering programs via lateral entry in 2025. Applicants pursuing lateral entry admission may access the counselling procedure on the official BCECE website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

According to the official notice, the counselling will be done in two rounds, with a potential mop-up round if openings remain. Aspirants are urged to adhere to the deadline in order to obtain seats at their preferred engineering colleges.

As per the official notice, the important dates are as follows:

1. Seat matrix posting on website: July 8, 2025

2. Start of online choice filling: July 10, 2025

3. Last date to fill and lock choices: July 13, 2025

4. 1st Round provisional seat allotment result: July 16, 2025

5. Objection submission for 1st Round provisional result: July 17, 2025

6. Publication of 1st Round final seat allotment: July 19, 2025

7. 1st Round Downloading allotment order: July 19 to July 22, 2025

8. 1st Round Document verification and admission: July 21 to July 22, 2025

9. 2nd Round provisional seat allotment result: July 28, 2025

11. Publication of 2nd Round final seat allotment: July 31, 2025

12. Round 2 Downloading allotment order: July 31 to August 2, 2025

13. Round 2 Document verification and admission: August 1 to August 2, 2025

BCECE LE Counselling 2025: Second round and potential mop-up round

The second round of counselling will begin on July 28 with the release of the tentative seat allotment results. Aspirants can file objections by July 29, and the final allotment for the second round will be revealed on July 31. Aspirants who were assigned seats in this round must download their allotment letters between July 31 and August 2, with document verification and admission slated for August 1 and 2.

If any seats remain vacant after these two rounds, the BCECE will hold a mop-up round of counselling. Details about the third round will be announced on the board's official website in due course.
