Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced the launch of its annual educational scholarship scheme for the academic year 2025–26, aimed at supporting economically disadvantaged students residing within its jurisdiction.

The initiative, led by the Social Development Department of the civic body, will benefit students from Class 1 to college level belonging to various underprivileged sections of society. The application process is entirely online, and students must register on the official portal — www.schemenmmc.com.

According to the official notification, the registration window will remain open from June 20 to July 31, 2025. The last date to submit the completed application form is August 15, 2025. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Details of the eligibility criteria, required documents, and other terms and conditions are available on the official website. The NMMC has appealed to maximum number of eligible students to avail the benefits of this scholarship to support their educational journey.

Deputy Commissioner of the Social Development Department, Kisanrao Palande, emphasized the importance of reaching out to the most needy and deserving students through this initiative.
