The passion to make reel on social media once again took a deadly turn. In Bhandara district of Maharashtra, 17 -year -old Tirtharaj Barsagade died of drowning in a pond. The incident took place on Sunday evening in a farm pond near Chulha village of Pawni tehsil, when he was making a video with his friends.
According to the witnesses, the pilgrimage slipped into deep water and began to drown. He made voices for help, but his friends felt that all this was part of the reel’s acting. He kept recording her video. By the time he realized the truth, it was too late. On receiving information about the incident, the Adyal police reached the spot and took out the body of the pilgrim from the pond and sent it for postmortem. The police have registered a case of accidental death and started investigation.
The pilgrims loved making reel, and the desire to gain fame on social media forced him to take such dangerous steps. This incident is a warning that the wrong step taken for a little fame may be fatal. Even in Gaya, Bihar, a person lost his life while making a reel. He was traveling by train and suddenly fell from the train. Meanwhile, another train came and got hit by it. According to the information, he was boarding Gaya-Dhanbad Intercity Express from Tanakuppa station. Railways said that he was making a reel with his friend.
He remained on the second track after falling from the train and was splashing in pain. Then the Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express was hit by him, which cut both his legs. He was rushed to the hospital, but died of excessive bleeding.
