Nicola Peltz has raised eyebrows with a string of barbed comments about family life - just as her father's birthday celebrations rolled into a third week and Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly set to miss his sister Harper's 14th birthday in the UK. The alleged family rift between Brooklyn, 26, and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, has been simmering since his 2022 wedding to Nicola, and sources claim it's showing no signs of easing.

Instead of returning to London for little sister Harper's big day, which falls on Thursday, Brooklyn will reportedly remain in New York, still celebrating with Nicola's billionaire father, Nelson Peltz. Nicola appeared to make her loyalties crystal clear by calling her dad the "most loving father" in a public tribute, just weeks after Brooklyn skipped David's glitzy 50th birthday bash in the Cotswolds. The couple also failed to attend a lavish family dinner held in David's honour at a Michelin-starred restaurant in west London, where many high-profile guests turned up.

Taking to Instagram, Nicola shared a snap of her Pop Mart dolls lined up neatly in a row, captioning it: "Our little family," before following up with a telling second post that read: "My mom just gets it."

She then rounded off her collection with a photo of herself hugging her father, writing: "I love you so much dad."

Nicola later posted a snap of herself with Brooklyn and her father and wrote: "I am so lucky to be your daughter, you're the most loving and supportive father I could ever dream of... Thank you for always being there for us - our constant love and support."

The gesture raised fresh questions over Brooklyn's continued absence from key Beckham family moments.

A source told The Mirror: "With talk of the family feud escalating further, Brooklyn is expected to be missing from the celebrations once again."

A source close to the couple shared with Express.co.uk: "It's ridiculous to suggest there was anything more to Nicola's post than what it was-a lighthearted, funny take on the viral Labubu trend. People are really reaching for something that isn't there."

Harper is said to be particularly hurt by her brother's silence. "Harper's been particularly affected by what's going on because she's always been really close to Brooklyn," the insider claimed.

"They've always had a lovely bond because Brooklyn was that bit older when Harper was born, and the hope when Brooklyn married Nicola was that she'd become like a big sister to Harper in a house full of brothers.

"But obviously that hasn't happened and it's potentially going to be heartbreaking for Harper if Brooklyn doesn't show up for her on her birthday."

David and Victoria, meanwhile, have remained publicly tight-lipped but are said to be hurt by the growing distance between their eldest son and the rest of the family.
