Mukesh Ambani’s company Jio BlackRock Mutual Fund made a big announcement on Monday. It has successfully completed its first New Fund Offer (NFO). In this NFO, it has received a total investment of Rs 17,800 crore (US$ 2.1 billion). This investment has been made in three different mutual fund schemes. The names of these schemes are Jio BlackRock Overnight Fund, Jio BlackRock Liquid Fund and Jio BlackRock Money Market Fund.
NFO for three days
This NFO of Jio BlackRock was open for only three days. It started on June 30 and closed on July 2. According to the company, more than 90 institutional investors invested money in it during this period. This shows that people are trusting Jio BlackRock Asset Management.
The company invests based on data and works digitally. Apart from this, these mutual fund schemes have also received a very good response from retail investors. During this period, more than 67,000 people have invested in these funds.
Good start
The company said in a press release that GeoBlackRock Asset Management’s mutual fund schemes have received a great response from both institutions and individuals. This NFO closed on July 2, 2025. It was one of the largest NFOs in the cash/debt fund segment in India. This makes GeoBlackRock Asset Management one of the top 15 asset management companies (AMCs) in the country. There are a total of 47 fund houses in India. These first funds launched by GeoBlackRock Asset Management offer investors the option to manage various components of cash and short-term allocation. This helps investors meet liquidity, risk and return targets as per their varying needs.
