They calculated the percentage of five-star reviews for each location. Those with the highest percentage of five-star reviews were revealed as the best-rated Wetherspoons in the UK. The Bishop Blaize in Manchester took the top spot, with 60.34% of its reviewers giving five stars. It is by far the best-rated Wetherspoons in Manchester, with the second-highest rated pub, The Shay Wake, ranking 112th.
In second place is Royal Victoria Pavilion in Ramsgate with 58.48% of reviewers giving five stars. This Wetherspoons is located on the beach in a Grade II-listed building designed by architect Stanley Davenport Adshead in 1903.
The Caley Picture House in Edinburgh comes in third place, with 57.82% of its reviewers giving it five stars. This Wetherspoons is a Grade II-listed building and a former cinema. With a cinema-style interior, it is the best-rated Wetherspoons in Scotland.
The worst-rated Wetherspoons in the UK, according to the research, is The Atrium in Birmingham with just 20.19% of reviewers giving it five stars. Second and third are The Albany Palace in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, and The White Swan in London, at 31.76% and 31.86%, respectively.
