An Amazon semi-truck was captured losing control on wet pavement and slipping down to the nearby river by traffic camera. The incident occured in Iowa city, near the Iowa riverside drive highway six. According to news-sources the truck narrowly avoided plunging into the river. The semi knocked off a traffic signal on the road, as seen in the video. As per police reports, no one was hurt in the accident and truck was highly damaged.

The incident occurred few days after an another vehicle drove into the river. As seen in the traffic camera, the Amazon semi can be seen driving on the wet road, while nevigating on the curve, the semi lost its control and goes down the opposite lane, knocked off the traffic signal and barrelled toward Iowa river. Police said that the trunk did not end up into the river and hit a tree. The driver has not been identified yet.

Riverside drive witnessed two such incidents within span of 3 days, as before Amazon semi's collapse, an 18-year-old woman drove herself into the Iowa River on the opposite side of the Iowa Avenue Bridge. Iowa City Police reported that the vehicle went into the river just after 3:00 AM on Sunday. The woman was charged with operating vehicle while intoxicated.
