News, New Delhi: Ramayana: Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi’s upcoming mythological film ‘Ramayana’ is seeing tremendous enthusiasm among the fans. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this mega budget film will be released on the Diwali of 2026, and discussion on social media is in full swing. The special thing is that a name to the old TV show ‘Ramayana’ has also been included in the film.

– Arun Govil, who made a place in crores of hearts by becoming ‘Lord Ram’ in the 80s. But this time Arun Govil is not playing the role of ‘Dasharatha’, not ‘Ram’. And this thing has distracted a little to the original ‘Sita’ of ‘Ramayana’ i.e. Deepika Chikhalia.

Deepika Chikhalia expressed grief over this decision

Deepika Chikhalia, who is worshiped from door to door by playing the role of Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayana’, has expressed her grief over this decision. In a recent interview, Deepika said – “I have always seen her as ‘Ram’, and I was seen as ‘Sita’. Now it seems a bit strange for me to see her in the role of ‘Dasharatha’.

This is not pleasing to my mind. ” This statement of Deepika has given rise to debate on social media.

“Once Ram is made, Ram will remain forever” – Deepika

Deepika clearly said that there has been an emotional and sacred connection between her and Arun Govil, which the audience also maintained for years. He further said: “There are some characters, which have an indelible relationship with the audience. If Arun ji has played the role of ‘Ram’, people will always remember him in the same way.”

Deepika also revealed that she did not get any offer from Nitesh Tiwari’s team, but even if she comes, she does not accept this project. She said that after becoming ‘Sita’, she cannot even imagine any other character in ‘Ramayana’.

One of the most expensive films

Nitesh Tiwari’s film is said to be one of the most expensive films based on Indian Mythology. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of ‘Ram’, Sai Pallavi ‘Sita’, and South Superstar Yash ‘Ravana’. Apart from this, TV actor Ravi Dubey has been offered the role of ‘Laxman’. The first look of the film has been released on July 3, and the teaser of this Diwali film is expected to come.
