WWE NXT is set to break away from its usual Orlando, Florida venue to host a special weekly episode in Philadelphia next month. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 19, at The Met Philadelphia, with a live broadcast starting at 8 PM ET on The CW.
This episode marks a significant milestone for WWE NXT as it embarks on a new broadcasting journey with The CW Network. Ticket sales for this exciting event will commence on Wednesday, July 9, at 10 AM ET/7 AM PT through Ticketmaster. An exclusive pre-sale will be available for fans starting on Tuesday, July 8, at 10 AM ET/7 AM PT, using the code NXTLIVE until 11:59 PM ET/8:59 PM PT.
This announcement follows WWE's five-year partnership with The CW, initiated in November 2023, allowing NXT to reach audiences weekly for the first time in its 13-year history. NXT now airs every Tuesday alongside other live sports events.
Previously, WWE NXT made its debut at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on November 6, 2024. The upcoming show at The Met will be its first event at this venue, which has transitioned from an opera house to a space for concerts and live events. Meanwhile, NXT is preparing for its annual Bash event this weekend.
The next premium live event, NXT Great American Bash 2025, is set for Saturday, July 12, at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia, coinciding with WWE's Saturday Night’s Main Event. The confirmed match card includes:
– NXT Champion Oba Femi vs. Yoshiki Inamura
– Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca vs. Izzi Dame
– Jordynne Grace & Blake Monroe vs. Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley
– TNA Slammiversary World title match contract signing
