Everyone will get free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh in Punjab

Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has announced a big health scheme for the people of Punjab. He told that the state government is going to implement such a scheme from October 2, under which every citizen will get free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. The special thing is that there is no income limit or any other condition in the scheme.

These documents will be required

To take advantage of this scheme, a person must have documents like Punjab address, Aadhaar card and voter card. Those who have these documents. Only they will get the benefit of the scheme. Kejriwal told that health cards will be issued to all eligible people, with the help of which free treatment will be available in both government and private hospitals. Those who do not have health cards. They will be able to get the card made by showing Aadhaar and voter card in the hospital.

Free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh is also available in Delhi

Let us tell you that Punjab is not the first state where free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh is available. This facility is also being provided in Delhi. There, treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is covered under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana. While a top-up cover of Rs 5 lakh is given by the Delhi government. In this way, overall, citizens in Delhi also get health cover facility up to Rs 10 lakh.
