Premium automotive brand Lynk & Co issued an advisory to the public not to deal with any unauthorised sellers but to only purchase vehicles from Galadari Motors “to ensure safety and protect consumer rights".

“Please note that Galadari Motors is (our) exclusive partner in the UAE, registered with the Ministry of Economy, and we do not have any external partners,” said a company statement sent to Khaleej Times.

“Buying a car from an unauthorised seller may prevent the consumer from contracting the maintenance of the car at authorised workshops (Galadari Motors Service Centers). This notice is issued in the interest of your safety and rights as a consumer,” noted Lynk & Co.

This means, any Lynk & Co vehicles sold outside the authorised distributor are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty or serviced within the distributor's authorised workshops that have engineers trained by the car manufacturer.

"Offers promoted outside the agency that contain a warranty or maintenance are untrue and unapproved," Lynk & Co noted. "Vehicles that do not have GCC specifications are contrary to the UAE's safety and security standards."
