Ahead of his 60th birthday, Aamir Khan sat down with the press for a cup of candid conversation, where he spilled the tea about his relationship with Gauri Spratt. Speaking about her, Aamir revealed, "She grew up in Bangalore, and her exposure was to different kinds of films and arts. So she doesn't watch Hindi films. She has probably not seen much of my work, too."
At the same event, Gauri Sprat opened up about what made her fall for Aamir Khan in the first place. Addressing the media, she began saying, "I wanted someone who was kind, a gentleman, and just caring," before she could move further, Amir Khan interrupted with a chuckle and said, "And after all that, you found me (sic)?"

Back in March, at the same press meet, Aamir mentioned that he was looking for someone with whom he could be calm, who could be his peace, and that's where Gauri fits. Par ab 60 saal ki umar mein shaadi shayad mujhe shobha nahi degi (Now getting married at 60 wouldn't suit me). But let's see (sic)."
Most recently, when the same question popped up in front of the actor, his reply echoed the same sentiments. He mentioned being in a serious and committed relationship with Gauri Sprat during his interaction with the Indian Express. He added that they are already partners, and even very candidly confessed, “We are together. Marriage is something, I mean, in my heart, I’m already married to her.”
“So whether it’s, whether we formalize it or not is something that I will decide as we go along,” he concluded.
