In an interview with Hindustan Times, the Raaz actor revealed that he hopes to work with his wife, actress Renuka, and described her as being of a "high level" when it comes to writing, directing, and acting. He also considers her one of the top actors in the country.

Ashutosh expressed admiration that goes beyond their personal relationship. “I am saying this not because I’m her husband, but I’m her husband because she’s such a great actor... So I’m a fan first. He also hinted at a possible professional collaboration with Renuka in the near future. He is more excited about acting in a film directed by her than simply sharing screen space. “That might turn into a reality very soon, as she is writing a script for me,” he said.
