BPSC Vacancy: To strengthen Ayurvedic medical education in Bihar, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited applications for the recruitment of Assistant Professor. These appointments will be made in Ayurvedic colleges of Begusarai and Patna. Under this recruitment process, a total of 88 posts will be filled in different subjects. Interested candidates can apply online from 15 July 2025 to 8 August 2025. Candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website of BPSC www.bpsc.bih.nic.in.

According to the information released by the commission, the appointment of an Assistant Professor will be done in various subjects related to Ayurveda medicine. Different posts have been determined according to each subject. There has been a problem of a lack of faculty in Ayurvedic colleges in Bihar for a long time. Through this recruitment, not only will the shortage of teachers in the colleges be met, but the quality of Ayurveda education and health services in the state will also be strengthened.

Who can apply?

Only those candidates can apply for the post of Assistant Professor who have a BAMS degree in the relevant subject and MD/MS (Ayurveda) or equivalent recognized degree in the relevant subject. Apart from this, it is mandatory for the candidates to be registered with the Medical Council of India or the concerned State Council.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected for the post of Assistant Professor on the basis of educational qualification, experience and interview. For this, BPSC will release detailed information on its website soon.
