Vedang Raina calls his bond with rumoured girlfriend Khushi Kapoor 'easygoing and genuine': 'There's a natural comfort between us'
Vedang Raina , who stepped into Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar ’s musical drama ‘ The Archies ’, has spoken about the warm bond he shares with his co-star and rumoured girlfriend Khushi Kapoor . Ever since the film was announced, rumours about the two dating have floated around – from playful comments on mutual friends’ social media posts to sneaky appearances together in photo dumps. However, neither Vedang nor Khushi has ever confirmed or denied the whispers, choosing instead to keep their personal lives away from public scrutiny.
‘Working with Khushi was effortless’
In a chat with Hindustan Times, Vedang spoke warmly about working with Khushi. He shared how their connection felt smooth right from the start. “Working with Khushi was effortless and really fun – there’s a natural comfort between us. Our bond is easygoing and genuine.” Vedang said.
Finding himself through films
Vedang started his journey in Bollywood with ‘The Archies’. After that, he went on to act in ‘ Jigra ’ alongside Alia Bhatt . Even though many had high hopes for the film, it didn’t get the response everyone expected. Looking back at his path so far, Vedang shared how much he has grown. “My journey of self-discovery and expression has been one of growth and self-awareness,” he said.
He further added, “It took time to truly understand myself, beyond external influences and expectations. I am learning to embrace my strengths and vulnerabilities, expressing myself authentically through my work, fashion, and presence. It's a very new and ongoing journey, but each step brings me closer to my true self.”
Handling ups and downs
Not every project can be a hit, and Vedang knows that well. He shared how he deals with tough times and setbacks. “Challenges and failures are part of the process. They push me to reflect and grow. I focus on learning from setbacks, not taking them personally. Staying grounded, having support, and remembering my goals helps me move forward,” he said.
Looking ahead to something special
Even with some bumps along the way, Vedang is excited about what’s next. Without giving away much, he teased, “I am working on a very special project and you’ll hear about it soon.”
