Lisa has always been a force to be reckoned with. Her talents exceed boundaries, and even with language, the idol is known to be a polyglot . While growing up in Thailand , the idol had access to both English and Thai, and after moving to Korea to fulfil her dreams, she started learning Korean as well! Recently, in a video uploaded online, her language teacher made some shocking revelations about how the idol managed to learn Korean in 6 months and what all she had to go through.
Lisa’s language teacher shares her experience working with the idol
In a new video shared on a popular video streaming platform by Lisa’s old language teacher, she talked about her experience while working at the group’s management agency. She talked about how dedicated the idol was, and how they had to spend even the weekends learning the language by spending time at public spaces like cafes and zoos.
She shared that the continuous integration of Korean culture and language during her early days as a trainee helped her in her career. “That’s why she debuted at a level similar to a Korean person,” she added.
She added that “she didn’t improve her Korean as fast as she thought she would”. She also made a shocking revelation about how, in order to make sure that Lisa manages to fully understand Korean as soon as possible, she requested the singer’s managers to make sure that she only talks and converses in Korean.
She also revealed that, “She practised Korean about 4 times a week in the practice room, and she only spoke in Korean,” citing that the hard work and continuous effort helped Lisa in mastering the language in only 6 months!
“It’s more difficult for Thai speakers because their language isn’t related to Chinese characters. So, Korean grammar or words must have felt more difficult”, Lisa’s teacher added on. She also talked about how many books and workbooks the idol had to take as reference from as well along with her homework as well in order to ingrain the language in her brain.
