More than 54 thousand people have applied under the much awaited residential plot scheme of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida), whose fate will now be decided on 11 July 2025 i.e. today. On this day a lottery will be organized at India Expo Mart of Greater Noida, where plots will be allotted to the applicants under the transparent process.

This plan of Yeida was launched on 21 April 2025. This includes a total of 276 plots with an area of ​​200 sqm. These plots are divided into three categories. 214 plots are reserved for general category, 48 farmers under quota and 14 plots are reserved for active industrial category. The special thing is that the entire application process was kept online, so that applications can be easily taken from all over the country.

Thousands of people who want to build or invest houses near Noida International Airport participated in this scheme. A total of 54,289 applications were received, for which Yeida adopted the fixed process for examination. After settlement of objections, 66 applications were canceled due to violations of rules and errors of documents. The final list of the remaining 54,223 valid applicants has been released on the website of Yeida.

The lottery process will be monitored under the supervision of former judges. There will be videography and photography of the entire process, as well as through live telecast, it will be made transparent for all applicants and general public.
