Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner will be eyeing up a place in the Wimbledon final when they meet at the All England Club. Djokovic is a seven-time champion at the tournament, while world No. 1 Sinner is yet to lift the Wimbledon trophy.

Djokovic reached the last four of the tournament after overcoming Flavio Cobolli in the quarter-finals on Wednesday. But he suffered a fall during the latter stages of the encounter and was forced to cancel a practice session on Thursday as he dealt with a suspected groin issue. Sinner, meanwhile, also cancelled a practice session earlier this week after hurting his elbow during his win against Grigor Dimitrov. The Italian was two sets down against Dimitrov but progressed after the Bulgarian retired due to an issue of his own. Sinner then cruised past Ben Shelton in the last eight. Djokovic will face Sinner on Friday, July 11 in what could prove to be an epic match between two giants of the sport.

The match will be played on Centre Court, where the temperatures are set to soar once again.

Djokovic and Sinner will have to wait until the conclusion of the first men's semi-final between Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz before they are able to make their way onto Centre Court.

Alcaraz and Fritz will begin their match at around 1.30pm, with the first player to win three sets progressing to the final.

If the first semi proves to be a quick match, it could end by 4pm, which would mean Djokovic and Sinner are able to start at around 4.30pm. But if Alcaraz and Fritz go the distance, the second semi-final may not begin until after 6.30pm.

Djokovic at Wimbledon

Djokovic, 38, won his first Wimbledon title in 2011 after getting the better of Rafael Nadal in the final. He tasted further success in 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2021. His seventh title at SW19 then came three years ago as he overcame Nick Kyrgios in the showpiece match.

Sinner at Wimbledon

Sinner lost to Djokovic on the only previous occasion he reached the Wimbledon semi-finals in 2023. The 23-year-old was also a quarter-finalist in 2022 and 2024.

Sinner is the favourite to win the clash and was priced at 2/5 ahead of the showdown. Djokovic, meanwhile, went into the encounter at odds of 2/1.
