Mumbai: Anurag Basu’s new film ‘Metro … these days’ is getting the love of the audience and is constantly holding the box office. Released in theaters on July 4, the film is based on four different love stories of young, old and middle-aged couples living in a metropolis and is Anurag Basu’s 2007 film Life in a … Metro’s spiritual sequel. The film stars Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Anupam Kher and Nina Gupta. Despite the slight start, the film has maintained a good hold at the box office. According to the press release, the film has grossed Rs 32.01 crore in 8 days.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh talked about the film’s ever -increasing success of the film in a statement, “Metro … These days the film has maintained its grip quite well, especially despite a tough competition at the box office and the tough competition from big films. Despite all the difficulties, the film has shown continuity in the entire weekends and the second weekend has shown a constant consistency in the weekend and the number of the audience is stable and the other weekends. That is its relevance, Anurag Basu’s story has touched the hearts of the audience.

PVR Iinox Limited’s main occupation plan and strategy, Kamal Gyanchandani said, “Metro … these dino have shown remarkable continuity at the box office. In a competitive environment, it is encouraging to see the audience returning to theaters for a film that is inspired by purely strong story and emotional depth. The number of audiences grows in the cinema office and the trading in theaters has grown in the box office. The demand has been underlined.

According to the press release, a source associated with the production also stated that, “‘Metro … in dino’ with a budget of Rs 7 crore on print and advertisement was never about wasteful and this is its strength. It is the ground, honest and joins the audience where it matters the most.

Bhushan Kumar’s T-series supported and directed by Anurag Basu, the film is emotionally based in many layers on modern relationships. Trends so far indicate good response to urban markets, and the film is ready to earn well even after its second weekend. According to the press release, it is expected to achieve good figures by the end of the weekend. ‘Metro … In Dino’ is now in theaters.
