Kota Srinivasa Rao, a veteran actor of the Telugu film industry and awarded Padma Shri, has passed away today i.e. on Sunday, July 13. It goes on to say that at the age of 83, he died at his residence in Hyderabad. Kota Srinivas Rao was struggling with age diseases for the last few days, while he breathed his last this morning.

Worked in about 750 films:
Kota Srinivasa Rao was one of the legendary actor of the Telugu film industry. He made his debut in the film ‘Pranam Karau’ in 1978. In his acting career for more than 40 years, he has worked in more than 750 films.

In these films, he was also awarded the Nandi Award 9 times for playing the role of Villain, Seroting Actor and Comedian. In the year 2015, the actor was also awarded the Padma Shri. His major films include Shami like ‘Dmmu’, ‘Son of Satyamurti’ and ‘Dangerous Khiladi’. Apart from Telugu, Kota Sriniva Rao did many films in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam cinema.
