Famous television actress Deepika Kakkar is in the news a lot due to her health. In May 2025, the actress was diagnosed with liver cancer. She was diagnosed with stage two liver cancer. After that, the actress was advised by the doctors to undergo surgery. The doctors performed a 14-hour surgery on the actress last month. The doctors also removed the tumor in this surgery. After that, Deepika Kakkar is now cancer-free and has also returned to her home after the surgery.

Deepika’s husband Shoaib Ibrahim has always been sharing his wife’s health updates on social media through his YouTube blog. In the same vein, Shoaib shared Deepika’s health update through a video. Once again, the actress’s health has deteriorated. A few hours ago, Shoaib shared a new blog on YouTube. In this shared blog, Shoaib gave Deepika’s health update, “Deepika’s targeted therapy has started from today. Today is the first day of that therapy, now she is feeling better. But, the next day Deepika had some trouble. She has sores in her mouth.”

In the blog, Shoaib further said, “After the therapy, Deepika said that she was feeling very tired. But it doesn’t matter. She had gone out with Ruhan. Maybe that’s why she was feeling tired.” Regarding the mouth sores, Deepika said, “The doctor had said that ulcers can develop. For that, you have to drink as much water as possible. So I increased my water intake. I think it will be fine.”

Earlier in her blog, Deepika said, “After the surgery, my whole life has changed. Earlier, I couldn’t sit in one place, I used to do something. But now I don’t want to do any work. Of course, the doctor has advised me to be active, but there are days when I feel like I just need to rest and nothing else.”

The actress further said that the doctors have also decided how I will be treated in the future. There is a medicine called Target Therapy, which I will start from next week. During Oral Target Therapy, I have to take one pill. I just pray that my body will be able to tolerate the treatment in the future as well as it has been doing so far. Everything has side effects and I am sure that this will also have side effects. I am just praying and keeping my faith.
