Salman Khan reprimanding and ousting Zubair Khan from Bigg Boss 11 in the first week itself remains one of the most dramatic events in the history of the reality show.

After exiting BB 11, Zubair made headlines for his strong remarks against Salman. He even filed an FIR against the superstar, accusing him of threatening him. Then, a few years later after the season, Zubair revealed struggling to get work and make ends meet. And that is when Salman extended him a helping hand.
In a recent interview, Zubair shared that Salman helped him secure a job on his last big release Sikandar, after which his life is coming back on track. During a conversation with Instant Bollywood, Zubair said, "Salman sir ko pata chala ke mujhe kaam ka issue hai aur mujhe kaam koi nahi de raha hai. Toh Sajid-Wajid bhai ke taraf se Sajid bhai ka mujhe call aaya, phir unhone mujhe bulaya. Sajid Nadiadwala sir, Sikandar ke joh producer hain, unke mujhe mauka diye apna production skill dikhane ka. Phir maine do schedule mein kaam kiya, aur mujhe paisa mila. (Salman Sir came to know I was struggling and not getting any work. I got a call from Sajid of Sajid-Wajid, he asked me to meet him. I received a call from Sajid Nadiadwala, who is the producer of Sikandar. He asked me to meet him and gave me an opportunity to showcase my production skills in the film. I worked on two schedules of the film and was paid for it.)"

He further added, "I worked as a production controller and production executive. It was a great experience shooting in Hyderabad and Mumbai. After working on Sikandar, my life is improving and is getting better. Logon ko bhi laga ke ye kaam karne waala banda hai, ye faltugiri karne waala banda nahi hai, joh meri image ban gayi thi after Bigg Boss, ki ye aisa hai, waisa hai, gunda type hai. (People also realised that I am not a man who does useless things, which was my image after Bigg Boss. People realised that I am not a goon-type person)."
For the unversed, Zubair lodged a complaint against Salman in October 2017, alleging that the superstar had verbally abused and threatened him during Bigg Boss. The case took an unexpected turn in April 2019. According to reports, Zubair submitted an application at the Judicial Magistrate First Class Court in Vadgaon Maval, expressing his decision to withdraw the complaint.
