UAE is going to set up a project of 60 thousand MW capacity in Rajasthan with an investment of three lakh crore rupees. The central government is diverting MoUs with UAE towards Rajasthan. This can prove to be a gamechanger not only for the energy sector, but also for the state’s economy. The UAE government is drafting under the major strategic scheme.

MoU in the presence of Chief Minister in Jaipur

UAE Investment Minister Mohammad Hassan Al Suvidi and India Foreign Minister S.K. The MoU was signed between Jaishankar. An MoU was also done in the presence of the Chief Minister in Jaipur just before the Rising Rajasthan Investment Global Summit, but it was not included in 35 lakh crores.

The highest solar energy in the country in Rajasthan

Rajasthan has the highest solar energy in India. It has a capacity of 5.72 units of solar energy every year from the area per sqm. Whereas, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and other states are far behind Rajasthan. This is the reason why investors are more eyeing Rajasthan.

Opportunities will open in these areas

  • Revolution in the energy sector: This project is several times more than the current renewable energy generation capacity of the state. This will make Rajasthan a large hub of solar and wind energy in the world.
  • People will get employment: People will get employment in areas like construction, operation and maintenance. Technical institutions will also benefit from this.
  • Economic advantage will be: Infrastructure, construction, machinery, engineering and local supply chains will be strengthened.
  • Global identity will be found: Rajasthan will create international identity as Green Energy Destination.
