It is considered one of the biggest win of Pragyananda’s career, where he won the match against Carlson in only 39 tricks.
At the Freestyle Chase Grand Slam, Indian Grandmaster R Pragyananda performed a tremendous demonstration against Magnus Carlson. He won all three format classical, rapid and blitz. Pragyananda defeated Carlson in the fourth round with 10 minutes plus 10 second increment time control. Winned in the fourth round and scored 4.5 points. After which he has managed to get the top position jointly in the white group with eight players.
