New Delhi: Netflix movie Aap Jaisa Koi, starring R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Sheikh, is a feel-good romantic drama that breaks patriarchy in many ways. The movie revolves around Shrirenu Tripathi, a 42-year-old Sanskrit teacher who hails from Jamshedpur and who finds himself opening up in unexpected ways after meeting the French teacher in her 30s, Madhu Bose.

The movie is hailed as a refreshing romantic drama and is loved by moviegoers and critics. Ever since the release of Aap Jaisa Koi, people have been searching for its shooting locations that were shown in the movie. So, let’s explore the same in detail!

Aap Jaisa Koi shooting location

The movie was shot in three cities in India, including Kolkata, Jamshedpur, and Mumbai. The film shows Fatima Sana Sheikh’s character as a Bengali, born in Kolkata. The film beautifully captures the old-world charm of the City of Joy with Victorian-style buildings, colourful frescos, monuments, and busy streets. It also features the iconic Coffee House on Kolkata’s College Street.

On the other hand, Madhavan’s character Shrirenu is seen from Jamshedpur. Hence, the city served as a filming location in important scenes in the film, especially the ones involving Madhavan and his family. Some of the places shown in the movie are Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, Tata Steel Zoological Park, Bhubaneshwari Temple, Simna Lake, and Jubilee Park.
