Metro In Dino, the spiritual successor to Anurag Basu’s acclaimed Life In A… Metro (2007), continues to register a stable performance at the box office. Released on July 4, the slice-of-life drama has struck a chord with urban audiences, thanks to its poignant storytelling and ensemble cast. As per Sacnilk, the film has collected a total of Rs 42.65 crore in 13 days, marking a solid run for a mid-budget film targeting niche viewers.

Set in a modern-day urban backdrop, Metro In Dino explores the complexities of contemporary relationships through the lens of four couples. The film features an impressive lineup including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher.
Box Office Journey: A Balanced Climb

The film had a modest start, opening at Rs 3.5 crore on Day 1. However, it picked up over the weekend with Rs 6 crore on Saturday and Rs 7.25 crore on Sunday, ending its first weekend on a high. Despite a predictable Monday drop to Rs 2.5 crore, the film remained steady throughout the week, closing its first week at Rs 26.85 crore.
The second weekend saw a resurgence in footfall, earning Rs 2.35 crore on Friday and a stronger Rs 4.65 crore on both Saturday and Sunday. While collections tapered off again during the weekdays, Metro In Dino managed to keep its total at a respectable Rs 42.65 crore after 13 days.
