The first list of seat allocation for admission in undergraduate courses at the University of Delhi will be released on July 19. Those whose names appear in this list will have to go to the respective college for admission. There are a total of 71,624 seats for undergraduate courses in DU, for which admission is to be done. Here, the maximum applications have come from students for B.Com (Hons). BA (Hons) Sanskrit
There are some BA (Hons) courses in the University, in which the cutoff is very low, because students generally do not want to do these courses. They feel that there is no future in these courses. Sanskrit (Hons) at Dayal Singh College, Delhi University, or History (Hons) at Vivekanand College may have lower cutoffs than popular courses like English or Economics. However, students can pursue these courses and make a career as teachers.

BA (Persian/Urdu/Philosophy/Music)

Apart from BA Sanskrit, the demand for these courses is also quite low. Especially in colleges that are not on the top list. If you have chosen these languages or subjects, you can get a seat in Delhi University even with a 7080 percentile score.

BA (Vocational Studies/Tourism/Office Management/Small Business Entrepreneurship)

These are the courses in Delhi University that are specially designed to teach practical skills. Due to their low demand at Delhi University, the cutoff is also quite low. Often, students get admission in these courses with a 6075th percentile.

BSc (Life Sciences/Physical Sciences-General)

This is a backup option for students of the PCM or PCB stream. Demand for BSc (Hons) is higher than BSc (General) courses, so this course falls in the low-demand category. Its cutoff goes up to around the 7585th percentile. So if a student has chosen these courses, then their chances of getting admission are high.
