Famous Telugu cinema actor and comedian Fish Venkat died on Friday. 53 -year -old Venkat had been suffering from a serious kidney disease for a long time and was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad. During treatment, his condition deteriorated and he breathed his last while living in ICU.
Fish Venkat, whose real name was Venkat Raj, was known for his distinguished Telangana accents and comic timing in Telugu films. He appeared in villains and comedies in many hit films and made a special place in the hearts of the audience.
According to reports, Venkat’s health suddenly deteriorated. He was admitted to ICU due to kidney failure. The doctors had advised him for a kidney transplant, which was said to be around ₹ 50 lakh. His daughter Shravanti said in an interview to One India, "Daddy is not right at all. He is in ICU and is in very serious condition. They need a kidney transplant. Its cost will come at least ₹ 50 lakh. Prabhas’s assistant got a call and he assured help. He said that at the time of transplant, we have to give them information, so that they can bear the expenses."
However, later Venkat’s family made a big disclosure in a separate interview. Talking to Suman TV, a member said,
Fish Venkat was known for his different style and Telangana tone. For this reason, he got recognition in the name of ‘Fish’ Venkat. He played important roles in films like ‘Bani’, ‘Adhurs’, ‘Dhe’, ‘Mirkay’. Recently he was seen in Aha’s thriller film ‘Coffee with a Killer’. During the Kovid-19 epidemic, he worked in films like ‘Ma Vinthha Gadha Vinuma’ and ‘DJ Tillu’ with Sidhu Jonnalagadda, which was appreciated by the audience and critics.
