Up news: The government of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a big step towards the development of western Uttar Pradesh. The construction work of Palwal-Tappal-Aligarh (PTA) National Highway-334 D has started here. This highway will be a total of 72 km long, which started from Khereshwar intersection. The responsibility of construction has been given to three companies, which will prepare a 33 -km forelane bypass, a flyover, three underpasses and service roads.
The total cost of this ambitious project is being stated to be Rs 1361 crore, in which Rs 530 crore will be spent on compensation and rehabilitation. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is monitoring this entire project. According to deputy project manager Karan Singh Raghav, the project will be completed within two years.
Through this highway, there is a plan to connect the Defense Corridor directly with Jewar International Airport, which will give new speed to industrial activities. At the same time, people will also get relief from the old problem of traffic jams in towns like Khair and Jattari.
Under the project, 7 to 12 meter long underpasses will be built near Lodha, Andla and Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University. At the same time, a special flyover will be built 30 meters long to connect the defense corridor.
The work of service road from Khereshwar to Arrana is also going on fast. NOC has been received from the Forest Department for the project and the work of tree harvesting has also started.
Well, 10 kilometers from Andla to 3 kilometers from Jattari will also be constructed, which will provide great relief to the people of these areas along with better connectivity.
