The University of Delhi (DU) released its first DU UG CSAS Allocation List 2025 for the candidates who had registered for admission into undergraduate programmes through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) 2025. The candidates can now check the cut off and the seat allocation on the official website of Delhi University UG admission.

The first DU UG cut off list was released at 5:00 PM on Saturday, marking a major step forward in this year’s admission cycle. Click here admission.uod.ac.in to check the first DU UG seat allocation list.

Candidates allocated seats in the first round can confirm their acceptance by 4:59 PM on July 21, 2025. This will be followed by a subsequent verification and approval of applications by respective colleges, which will continue until July 22, 2025. The last day to deposit fee online is by July 23, 2025.

This development follows the conclusion of Phase I (registration) and Phase II (preference selection), both of which commenced on July 8. Candidates had submitted their preferred courses and colleges via DU’s official undergraduate admissions portal, ugadmission.uod.ac.in

The university had also released simulated rank lists on July 15 to aid students' decision-making. Following this, students had a two-day window to modify their preferences, ending at 11:59 PM on July 16.

The admissions to all UG courses at DU will be based on the scores secured in CUET (UG) 2025. Admissions to the School of Open Learning (SOL), Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB), and for Foreign Nationals are exempted from this.

Meanwhile, the Delhi University also kicked off its Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) admission trials on July 18. These trials are being held across various colleges and will go on till July 26. The trials include several categories, including theatre, dance, music, debate, yoga, digital media, and fine arts.

Upcoming Rounds and Key Dates

The candidates who were not allotted seats in the first round or seeking better options can wait for the next list. DU will publish the list of vacant seats for the second round on July 24.

Applicants will have until July 25 to adjust their preferences. The second allocation list is scheduled for release at 5:00 PM on July 28.

Among the several changes introduced by the university in this year’s admission process,  a significant addition is the auto-accept feature, which has been designed to prevent students from inadvertently losing allocated seats due to delayed responses.

Admissions will be based on the candidate’s best CUET-UG 2025 scores, which the university will determine through either of the following combinations:

One language + three domain-specific subjects, or
Two languages + two domain-specific subjects

Furthermore, the previously mandatory minimum score of 30 percent in the CUET language paper for BSc (Hons) programs has been scrapped.
