Cheteshwar Pujara has selected a Test team including India and England in which Sachin Tendulkar and Dhoni were not included. There are seven Indians and four English players in the team. Kohli, Dravid, Jadeja, Ashwin and Bumrah have got a place. Pujara has also given importance to all -rounders.

Delhi: The Indian cricket team is currently on a tour of England where the five -match Test series is being played. India is 2–1 behind in the series and the fourth match will be played in Manchester from 23 July. Meanwhile, India’s veteran batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has prepared his Test playing XI by combining India and England in a special event by ESPN Cricinfo.

Pujara chose his team

A total of 7 Indian players have got a place in this team of Pujara. However, he did not include India’s legends Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni in this team. Pujara chose Rahul Dravid and England’s Alex Stewart for the opening. Joe Root, Virat Kohli and VVS Laxman have been placed in the middle order.

Pujara’s team consists of four all -rounders. He included England captain Ben Stokes, Andrew Flintoff and Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin of India. In the pace attack, he has chosen Mohammed Shami and Jaspreet Bumrah. Former England fast bowler Matthew Hagard has been kept as the 12th player.
